Tony’s Chocolonely is recalling certain batches of its Large Hollow Easter Egg 242g product in both Milk Chocolate and Caramel Sea Salt flavours due to the potential presence of metal fragments.
This recall only affects these specific products with a best before date of June 2025 with certain lot codes. You can check your lot code in our 'lot code checker' tool on this page.
A lot code is a unique identifier assigned to a specific batch or quantity of products manufactured under the same conditions, used for tracking and traceability. It is printed on the side of the packaging underneath the best before date, usually starting with the letter L.
The rest of the Tony's Chocolonely Easter range, including all its small eggs and all other Tony’s Chocolonely products are not affected by this issue.
Do you have an egg with the impacted lot number(s)? Please don’t eat the chocolate. Instead, we kindly ask you that you return the product to the store where you bought it for a refund, even if you don't have a receipt.
